Love is one of the five energies that arises from our Core.
We all encounter times in which we need to collaborate with someone we may not otherwise like.
In those moments, activate “Love” through appreciation: find something to genuinely appreciate in them, and you’ll then be able to engage with them positively and authentically. Perhaps you do not like the way your manager speaks to you, but you can still appreciate them for all the insights they have on your project. You might get annoyed with a fellow volunteer at your non-profit, but you may still appreciate this person for dedicating themselves to a good cause. You fiercely disagree with your partner on something, but you appreciate their candor in bringing up this sensitive issue.
Make sure you aren’t simply going through the motions when you appreciate them, but are feeling it genuinely from within. It almost doesn’t matter if you express this appreciation on the outside, as long as you’re feeling it on the inside.
Focus on appreciation, and Love will flow!
Warmly,
Hitendra
