The Invitation

Most coaching stops at the mind.

We go deeper.

Expertise, intellect, and hard work are essential — but no longer enough to deal with the complexities of our times. The leaders and coaches who will matter most in this moment are those who have awakened something richer: a steadier courage, a wider compassion, a deeper discernment, and a more inspired creativity.

Beneath our skills and mindsets lives a more foundational dimension — the mystic core. Mystics, scientists, and modern seekers all point to the same truth: within each of us lives a radiant inner essence endowed with peace, love, wisdom, and joy.

By anchoring in our core, we move even more fully into engagement with the world. Coaching from the Mystic Core trains you to access this dimension — and to help your clients and team members do the same.

First Dimension

Body

Physical health, energy management

Second Dimension

Mind

Skills, mindsets, performance, emotional intelligence

Third Dimension

Soul

The mystic core and its living connection to the source of all wisdom, clarity and purpose expressed through the very presence that you bring to the room.

Who This Is For

Is this your call?

We are inviting early adopters and sincere seekers ready to be a force for light and love in their work. We will be discerning in selecting the ideal participants for this inaugural cohort.

This program is best suited for those who already hold a reverence for the transcendent — whether through a formal practice, a set of core beliefs, or a deep curiosity about the mystery of life.

This program will resonate the most with:

Experienced Coaches — 5+ Years

Spiritually attuned practitioners ready to deepen their approach and anchor it in the soul. You’ve built your competencies. This program opens the next dimension.

Leaders & Managers

Those who lead teams and wish to ignite higher performance by guiding people toward their highest potential — not just their next objective.

Organizational Change Professionals

HR, OD, and internal talent specialists looking to embed soul-guided wisdom and behavior across their organizations in a lasting way.

Learning outcomes

Six capacities.
One transformation.

01

Coach from a Soul-Centered Foundation

Understand and embody the mystic core as the third dimension of human development beyond body and mind. Learn to help those you coach cultivate a direct, experiential relationship with their inner source of wisdom, clarity, and strength.

02

Uncover the Divine Spark and Life Path

Guide clients and team members in uncovering their singular soul blueprint - their gifts, purpose, and role in the world. Use tools such as the Soul Map to align their life, leadership, and relationships with their deepest calling.

03

Facilitate the Practice of Drift and Return

Recognize states of triggered, everyday, and soul-centered awareness in those you coach. Develop coaching methods that help clients and team members identify moments of drift - fear, reactivity, or disconnection and return reliably to clarity, alignment, and presence.

04

Cultivate Inner Guidance and Inspired Action

Help clients and team members access and trust their inner voice, distinguishing it from ego-driven impulses. Support the development of intuition, discernment, emotional regulation, and wise decision-making grounded in soul-awareness.

05

Evoke the Sacred in Relationships and Service

Develop the capacity to see and call forth the highest potential in others. Coach clients and team members to bring presence, empathy, moral clarity, and service-oriented leadership into their interactions and organizational environments.

06

Guide Integration, Meaning, and Lifelong Growth

Help those you coach integrate their life experiences into a coherent narrative of purpose and growth. Support clients and team members in navigating uncertainty, imperfection, and life's deeper questions while sustaining a steady path of personal development and contribution.

The Journey

A path toward mastery.

Building presence – through principles, practices, portraits, and partners.

Dr. Hitendra Wadhwa

Founder & CEO, Mentora Institute
Adjunct Professor, Columbia Business School

Hitendra’s mission is to discover, codify, and teach the laws of success in life and leadership which form the foundation of our work at Mentora. With an MBA and Ph.D. from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and a lifelong study of the world’s mystic traditions, Wadhwa brings a mathematician’s rigor and a truth-seeker’s spirit to some of today’s most vexing questions about authenticity, success, leadership, and human potential. He has codified these principles in his book, “Inner Mastery, Outer Impact: How Your Five Core Energies Hold the Key to Success”, published by Hachette Book Group in 2022.

“Hitendra's lessons are inspiring, valuable lessons for us all... His lessons are life lessons, helping us better understand ourselves in meaningful, insightful ways and reaching our fullest potential. Hitendra's work on Inner Mastery, Outer Impact has been invaluable to me and to our company.”

CRAIG BOYAN, FORMER PRESIDENT, H-E-B

“Professor Wadhwa offers a superb integration of ancient and modern wisdom and argues that the most powerful path to leadership and success can be found within.”

DAVID D. BURNS, RENOWNED COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPIST AND PROFESSOR EMERITUS, STANFORD MEDICAL SCHOOL

“In an ever-changing world filled with distractions and opportunities, it's challenging for many of us to harmonize who we are on the inside with who we think we should be on the outside. Inner Mastery, Outer Impact is ... essential... for those of us who desire to live fully and freely by finding and following our inner voice."

John P. Schuster
John P. Schuster

Senior Executive Coach and Director of Mentora’s Coaching from the Mystic Core (CMC) Program

John P. Schuster, PCC, is a seasoned ICF-certified executive coach and trainer who has dedicated 25 years to teaching in premier coaching schools, including Columbia University, and The Hudson Institute of Coaching.

John’s coaching aspirations evolved over these years. In early and mid-career he focused on building social capital within organizations. This commitment fuels his work with churches, civic, and non-profit enterprises and motivates him to serve mission-driven organizations. In the later stages of his career, a new deeper brand of coaching has become central to his efforts. His life long effort to grow spiritually had been a private concern but now finds public expression with his clients and in Mentora’s CMC program. Clients’ highest aspirations are often obscured by their busyness and limiting beliefs. Re-igniting this soulful potency — with a blend of common sense, and artistically, psychologically and spiritually informed coaching processes—is now John’s capstone work.

“Attending a program led by John Schuster is what it must feel like to discover a new world. His teachings, his stories and his deep knowledge of people and coaching open up new ideas and thoughts I had never before explored. It is both empowering and comforting seeing the potential in all of us and what we may bring to our clients.”

STEPHANIE MILBAUER SOUKUP, MANAGING DIRECTOR, PWC

“As a coach I too need my thinking to be re-invigorated, re-framed, and re-engineered. John Schuster is a man whose soulfulness as a thinker and insight as a practitioner has helped me not only to deepen my skill set but also my appreciation for how coaching works.”

DR. JOHN J. SCHAFFNER, FACULTY, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY COACH CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

“John's coaching opened up a whole new world of “inner work" for me, allowing me to really dig deep and understand the powerful habits that drive my attitudes, feelings, and behaviors. With that increased self-awareness, I gained a much deeper understanding of my internal barriers and learned to recognize that there are different choices I can make to break habits that are no longer serving me."

JASON MILLER, PCC FACULTY, THE HUDSON INSTITUTE OF COACHING

Established Excellence

Decades of testing and honing our method.
In the classroom and in the field.

Coaching from the Mystic Core is built on Mentora Institute’s proven research — developed through Prof. Hitendra Wadhwa’s award-winning teaching at Columbia University and tested with over 10,000 executives, lawyers, physicians, educators, and leaders worldwide.

Our curriculum weaves together timeless wisdom from the world’s spiritual and philosophical traditions, scientific research from psychology and neuroscience, and real-world studies of soul-awakened lives.

“Science is at its best when pursued with a spiritual temperament — with great appreciation for the vast intelligence in nature… Spirituality, in turn, is at its best when pursued with a scientific temperament; if a spiritual path we are pursuing does not, over time, make us increasingly peaceful, wise, loving, and joyful, well then, scientifically speaking, something isn’t right — either the teaching itself, or our understanding of it, or how we are putting it into practice.”
