Job Summary
Mentora Digital is at the center of some exceptionally exciting work here at Mentora. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of a team directly responsible for the final quality and robustness of the Mentora app in production environments. Through your experience and know-how of Bug Cycle, Test Strategies, Test Planning, Manual and Automated Testing Tools, CI/CD among others, you will be expected to take complete ownership of ensuring that Mentora meets both internal and 3rd-party standards of security, robustness and consistency at scale.
In order to succeed in your role at Mentora, you will need to stay sharp and bank upon your experience as a software engineer with a solid software testing foundation. You will design, plan, execute and automate tests for software across a variety of architectures and cutting-edge technologies.
This is a full-time position in Gurugram/Pune.
Occasional evening and night hours might be required for Zoom meetings and webinars. You can take these from home.
Responsibilities
- Derive test cases from use cases and functional documentation, create test-plans, and define test strategies to validate software design via automated and manual tests.
- Write automated tests with Jenkins, Selenium, flutter-test, and others.
- Identify performance and scalability bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
- Contributing towards the implementation of a robust CI / CD pipeline.
- Find opportunities for improvements in systems, tools, and processes, as well as drive these improvements with the development team(s).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field with good academic scores
- 2 – 3 years of work experience, preferably in an IT company or a start-up
- Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C/C++, Python, etc.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, flutter-test, QTP, Load Runner or Win Runner.
- Excellent QA aptitude and ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Ability to write test plans and test strategy documents.
- Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, including the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results.
- Implementing and working with CI / CD.
- Strong understanding of Git.
- Agile / Scrum / Kanban.
